Robotics Team
About the team
We are an Army JROTC Team out of Strawberry Crest High School in Dover, FL. This is our Third year competing in VEX Robotics. We encompass 8 cadets interested in various categories of STEM and robotics. Our team is very diverse, and our main goal is to have fun. We aim to spread the knowledge of STEM that we learn to the students in our high school, and help high students become better citizens.

What you can learn
We teach cadets STEM principles, hands-on engineering, coding, and robotics design while fostering leadership, teamwork, and character development. Students learn how to code, and use the engineering design process. The team is a cadet-led program, it develops leadership, communication, and collaboration skills among peers. Cadets learn how computers think, iteration (learning from failure), and creative design solutions. The JROTC robotics program is tailored to provide practical experience for students, often allowing teams to participate in JROTC invitationals and competitions that emphasize growth and critical thinking.
